A Final Visit

Today was my 6 week post-partum check up and my last visit to my nurse-midwife. It's surprising to me how fast time has gone by since my first visit with her. It seems like just yesterday she confimed my pregnancy after a plethera of questions we asked to determine whether or not we wanted to use her for prenatal care. She was awesome throughout the whole pregnancy. It's just too bad she wasn't there for the birth. When she came into the room today (I hadn't seen her in almost two months), she said, "Well, I guess I just can't leave you alone." I joked that the only reason he came early was because she was on vacation. Anyway, after so many visits with her, it's strange to think that I won't be seeing her anymore. However, I do plan on using a nurse-midwife next time, and if we're in Idaho then, I will have her once again.
