Updates

It's been a while since I've updated. It's been a busy month. Spring quarter ended and my three week summer course began, so I'm still gone most of the day. My baby shower was this month. Quite a few people showed up, some from out of town. It was great to see everyone. Julian got a lot of presents, mostly clothes and blankets, but I'm sure they'll come in handy. My cousin Kaysie made him shoes, a quilt (her first ever), a diaper bag, and some blocks made from fabric. I think they can all be viewed on her blog: http://www.kzjostudio.blogspot.com/ . I'm so amazed by her talent. The nursery is coming together nicely. The only things left that we need are a changing pad for the table (and a cover), a water-proof crib mattress cover, and a diaper disposal system (we've decided on the Diaper Genie II Elite).

The weather has been absolutely beautiful this past week which makes me yearn to go camping. The only things standing in my way are the numerous bathroom trips throughout the night and the lack of comfort I'd be sure to feel while sleeping. We're definitely planning on it next year though, if Julian's up for it, that is. Anyway, here's a picture Karsten took of me before I left for the baby shower at about 29 weeks.
